A sluggish or unresponsive air conditioner doesn't have to mean a sweltering week. Our certified technicians track down the real problem and fix it right the first time, so your home cools down again fast.
A slow refrigerant leak, a burned-out capacitor, a grimy condenser coil, or a compressor on its way out are some of the usual suspects behind a system that won't cool the way it should. Wiring connections can also work loose over the years, leading to a unit that cycles on and off unpredictably or refuses to start.
Peak summer heat pushes any air conditioner to its limit, and units that haven't had regular upkeep or are getting older are the ones most likely to give out when you need them most.
We start by inspecting refrigerant charge, testing electrical components, examining coil airflow, and confirming the thermostat is communicating properly with the system. Comparing the temperature of the air going in versus coming out tells us right away whether the unit is delivering the cooling capacity it's rated for.
Once we've pinpointed the issue, we explain what's wrong, outline your repair options, and give you clear pricing before any work gets underway.
Once the repair is finished, we run a complete cooling cycle to make sure temperatures are consistent and airflow is where it should be throughout the house. We also inspect the condensate drain line, since a blockage there is one of the more common triggers for water damage near your indoor unit.
If your system keeps needing attention, we're happy to talk through whether continuing to repair it or planning for a replacement is the smarter move for your budget.
